I attended the Santa Cruz Baymonte location until it closed. I then completed highschool at Robert Louis Stevenson in Pebble Beach and my BS in Neuroscience at Yale. After finishing Medical School in Washington, DC;I practice Orthopeadic Surgery in the same city with hopes of coming back to my home Santa Cruz soon. Hi everyone, it was fun reading the posts. After the school closed in '85 I went to and graduated from Harbor in '87. I graduated from San Diego State University in 1991 and met and married and moved to San Jose. I have 4 kids total, Joey (9) and Isabella (7) from my first marriage. I remarried in June of 2000 to a "man after God's own heart", Sean, and we have added Danny (almost 4) and adopted Jada Grace (7 mos). Jada Grace just arrived on 9/22/05. Joey and Isabella both attend Baymonte, which brings up so many memories! Danny will attend pre-school there next year. We have been actively involved in Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz since its begining in July '00. I worked in bookkeeping from '94 until Danny was a year old in 2003. We previously lived in Aptos and moved to Scotts Valley in 2003. It's nice to be home!

I stay at home, I injured my back rather badly 10 years ago, so it is not possible for me to work anymore. I do sell Premier Designs Jewelry on the side, which I love. Yes Mr. Mann, I met my husband at a dance at college!! (I remember you being so concerned that the college I picked allowed dancing....) I do miss CA, and think about the school often.

Hello to you all! I graduated Baymonte to Work many years as a Bicycle mechanic. Then on to a Engineering Gig at Raychem in Menlo Park, Ca. Then traveling around the U.S. for Two years seeing this country. Finally going back to College for a Degree in Photography/Graphic Design in Iowa. Moving Back to california in 95', Following the path of Commercial Photographer led me back to Santa Cruz in 1998. Meeting my now wife (Sherry), we have settled in Reno, NV. I'm working in the Home improvement industry. My B/W Phography hangs in many private collections. Many Great adventures & Blessings over the last 20 years! As of 9/2006, Tommy is a Freshman engineering student and baseball player at CSU Los Angeles, Tyler is a senior and Tiffanie is a sophomore at Modesto Christian High School. Jodie is full time mom but recently started an interior consulting business working mainly with realtors. I'm a Sr.VP of Wealth Management at Smith Barney where I been since 1993. I still play softball and coached baseball for my boys up until this year. Love my wife, love my kid and love what I do. We've been part of Bethel Church in Modesto since 1992. Well, its nice to see a few names of the classmates of '85 on the list. I live in Minnesota now. Hot, humid, rainy and in the winter time, subfreezing weather. Oh well. In November of this year ('03) I will be leaving for basic training in the army, as I try to keep up with a bunch of teenagers almost half my age - ouch! I live in central Minnesota in a small town of Brainerd. (A few years ago it was the suicide capital of the United states - well, I guess you have to be proud of something). Never married. Attending Baymonte was probably one of the best decisions that I made in my life. The friends that I made, and the faculty that taught me will never be forgotten. Attending Baymonte also gave me a foundation for my faith. I will never forget Mrs. Cantrall, Mrs. Howe, Mr. Patterson, or Chris Cullwell, and the many other staff members that I have so many fond memories of. I currently --four years of service in May of this year-- work as a Casework Assistant for DHS-Child Welfare, in the State of Oregon. I have qualified for a position as a Bilingual Caseworker, but I'm not sure that this is my heart's desire, as Social Services can be exhausting, and filled with bureaucracy. Yippeee!!!!!! Zippeeee!!!! I finally graduated with my B.A. in Spanish, from the University of Oregon, in the Summer of 2002.

I left Baymonte in the middle of my Freshman year of high school....devastating!!! I moved to Redding, Cailfornia and have been here ever since. I have been married and have 5 kids, 4 girls and 1 boy. I also have 2 grandchildren (boy and girl). I've often wondered what's happened in the lives of my good friends at Baymonte...Jim and Jo Buderas, Kate Roth, Gayle Smith, Geoff Harris, Mark Welty, Sal Sciallaba(sp?)... I miss you all!!! We recently moved back to Colorado after ministering in a church in Kansas for 7 years. Welll, I went to Baymonte for ages- and it was lovely. Currently I am a senior (yeah 07!) at Monte Vista. Next year I will be chaplin, which will be pretty fun. hmm, well I would have to say one of my favorite Baymonte memories was when we were left at the school in mexico we were ministering at for oh, 4 or 5 hours. Definitly a blast. Also, I've made some life long friends from my time at Baymonte.

Hi, Baymonte Folks: Deb (Debi Lanctot) and I just celebrated 25 years of marriage this month - April '06. Time goes by fast, huh? We have 2 daughters, Chelsea (23) is at he University of Oregon and Samantha (16) is a sophmore in High School. We are in Oregon where we have pastored children for over 12 years. I was the Principal at Willammette Christian School for a few years (which will likely disturb many of you who knew me in High School)- but some health issues required me to step down (I'm an old man now - although Deb is still young :) ) I own an Internet company (TeknonMedia.com) and love it. - It allows us the time we need to still work in Childrens Ministries on a volunteer basis now. The Lord has been blessed us with a great life, good friends, a good church ... and continues to provide. Hey...Where are all the '79 grads?

This is our sixth year at Hillcrest Christian School in Granada Hills, CA. High School enrollment is at 230 this year and the Middle School enrollment is 225. Our seventh daughter, Erica, was just engaged and she and her fiance are planning a July wedding. September was a banner month for the Mann family as we jumped to twelve grandchildren. Kati presented us with another grandson, Mark Ryan Martinez, and Wyndi had her fourth daughter, Shawna Louann McIntosh. Margaret is pregnant and is anticipating the arrival of "Evelyn Ruth Miller" in March. We would love to hear from former students and alumni.

WOW! Talk about a trip down memory lane. This is great! Well, I graduated from Harbor in 1990, went back east for college, taught history, art history and literature for 10 years. I was married in 2002 to the greatest guy in the world, Ryan, and we now have 18 month old twin boys, Nathanael and Samuel. We are living in North Carolina, not our most favorite place, but God is so good and is blessing our ministry here. I am a happy stay at home mom who is looking forward to home schooling. Ryan is the founder and clinical director of his own Christian counseling center. We love to travel and are hoping to get back to No Cal someday soon. He is a SoCal boy! I have so many great memories of Baymonte...memories that entertained my own students for 10 years!

I am still dancing and teaching Ballet and started working this year as an aide at Baymonte (I guess I haven't gone very far from home.) My kids love it and it is great to see them get a really wonderful education from truly caring teachers.

After graduating in 1985, I spent two years at Cabrillo, and then five at Cal Poly getting my Bachelors of Architecture degree (turns out I loved to draw and design). I got married to Sharon, and we moved to Ventura where I worked for a couple of years, then decided I liked computers more. Now I'm doing Web pages, programming, and other design work for the family business, have two awesome little girls (Julia and Marley), and am living in Northern California. I think about and thank God for those years at Baymonte, they have helped me through a lot over the years. I am a Training & Developement Specialist at AMR in the Bay Area of Calif. I have five children and 4 grandchildren. I have few regrets, one of the biggest was I did not stay to finish with my class, I just wanted to serve our country at the time. After my lone year at Baymonte, I went to high school at Monte Vista in Watsonville. Went to Cabrillo and played a year of college basketball there. Enlisted in the Marines, served for 6 years. Went to college in L.A., played 2 years of college basketball there, and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Theology (emphasis on Biblical Languages - Greek/Hebrew). Currently in grad school getting a Masters in Education and a Teaching Credential (will teach high school next year). I coach the track team at a local high school here in the Santa Barbara area where I now lay my head. Will finally be getting married this July (only took me 33 years). I play music (guitar) in 3 different bands and run a small-time record label in my spare time (when not doing homework, of course). I only went to Baymonte for 1 year (8th grade) but it was one of the most wonderful years of school ever. Everyone was so accepting of me from day one, teachers and students alike. The education was top notch for sure, and the atmosphere of the school ruled. Anyone that I went to school with: hit me up, write me, and let me know what you're up to these days!!! And yes, I ditched that nappy long hair that I loved so much in 8th grade...

I've been married since '88 to a great guy named Marc, and am a Home Educating Mother to 3 terrific kids, ages 5, 10 & 13. We just started a family business called "Dana-mite Designs." We make beaded lanyards, scissor fobs & bead buffet-ware. Currently we are in several Bay Area retail locations. (No website yet). I enjoy designing jewelry, decorating and counseling others.    I have a deep passion to minister to women who have been wounded by various kinds of abuse. The Lord led the way to begin a community ministry at our church in 2000 called, "Healing Hearts Recovery Group." One day, (when the kids are older) I hope to become a Biblical Counselor.    In thinking of my years at Baymonte, I have great memories! Attending Baymonte, has had a huge impact on my life. The fact is...my life is different today because of the acceptance, encouragement, love & grace I was shown by the staff. Especially Mr. "Z". He literally gave me a "second chance" by inviting me to be a student there! To this day, his "Marriage & Family" class, (for Seniors only) has helped shape my parenting skills. We all laughed when he pulled a doll out of his desk to talk about loving discipline. Besides teaching us to chew our food 32x's before swallowing, in Health Class; Mr. York taught deep Bible truths and challenged me to seek God. Our English teacher Cordillia, better known as "Cordie," (sorry, I can't remember the last name), was so patient with every re-write of all those assigned essays and reports. She taught us to be effective writers and to appreciate art.    I often think about these teachers and wonder where they are today, and who else has had the privilege of sitting under their wise teaching? God's blessings on every one of them!!!    There is so much to add I hope that one day, before Heaven, we'll have an opportunity to cross paths. I'd like to tell them how thankful I am that they took the time (not to mention a lesser salary), to serve the Lord and to build character into my life and many of yours!    I'd love to hear from you whether fellow student or teacher.
